Cookie policy

This page describes which cookies and similar records are used on the Travel's Cappadocia website, what they are for and how you can manage them. Details on how personal data is processed are in the privacy policy and KVKK information notice.

1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files placed in your browser when you visit a site. The browser's local storage serves a similar purpose: remembering your preferences until your next visit. On this page we call both of them cookies.

2. Essential records

These records are needed for the site to work and to provide the features you ask for, so no consent is requested:

  • Language preference: which language the site is shown in.
  • Currency preference: the currency in which prices are shown.
  • Favourites: the list of tours you liked.
  • Your cookie choice: remembering the decision you made on the consent banner.
  • Security: technical records needed for the forms and the site to work safely.

This information is kept only in your browser and is not used to identify you or build a profile. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser, while preference records stay until you delete them.

3. Measurement cookies

Measurement cookies, which help us understand in aggregate which pages are visited and how often, are loaded only with your consent. On your first visit you see a consent banner; if you do not accept, these cookies are never loaded and the site works the same. Even after consenting you can withdraw your choice at any time.

4. External content

Third-party content such as maps does not open until you say "load". Once you do, the provider may use its own cookies and reach some information about your device. You can keep using the site without opening such content.

5. How to manage cookies

  • To change your decision on the consent banner, delete the site data in your browser; the banner appears again on your next visit.
  • In your browser settings you can block or delete cookies, or allow them only for certain sites. If you block the essential records, preferences such as language, currency and favourites may not be remembered.

This policy is updated when needed, and the current version is published on this page. For questions, use the channels on the contact page.
